Por instrucciones del Señor Presidente de la República, Dr. Leonel Fernández Reyna, se autoriza a partir de la fecha la importación de municiones con marcaje, conforme lo requieren los organismos internacionales, debiendo figurar por lo menos cuatro dígitos en las mismas, los dos primeros RD (República Dominicana) y dos letras del alfabeto la primera que será el código de la empresa conforme aparece en el párrafo I de este mismo artículo y la segunda letra para indicar el lote de las municiones importadas tanto para uso oficial como para uso privado…

Article 5. Importing Ammunition

Under instructions from the President of the Republic Dr. Leonel Fernández Reyna, the import of marked ammunition is authorised starting from this date.
