Article 48-1:

Les armes, éléments d'armes et munitions détenus par les personnes physiques titulaires d'une autorisation d'acquisition et de détention doivent être conservés dans des coffres-forts ou dans des armoires fortes. Ces personnes sont tenues de prendre toute disposition de nature à éviter l'usage de ces armes par un tiers.

Toute demande d'autorisation d'acquisition et de détention, et toute demande de renouvellement d'une autorisation déjà accordée, doit être accompagnée de la justification des installations mentionnées à l'alinéa précédent.

Article 48-1:

The firearms, components of firearms and ammunition possessed by individuals holding an authorisation to purchase and to possess, must be stored in safes or in secured cabinet. These individuals are required to take all measures likely to prevent the use of these firearms by a third person.

A description of the facilities mentioned in the above paragraph must be attached to any request for an authorisation to purchase and to possess, and to any request to renew an authorisation already granted.
