Article 26 :

I. Les convoyeurs privés sont autorisés à acquérir et à détenir des armes et éléments d'arme dans les conditions prévues par le décret n° 2000-376 du 28 avril 2000 relatif à la protection des transports de fonds.

II. Peuvent être autorisées à acquérir et à détenir des armes et des éléments d'arme des paragraphes 1 à 3 de la 1re catégorie1 et des armes et éléments d'arme de la 4e catégorie,2 à l'exception des dispositifs additionnels du paragraphe 3 de la 1re catégorie1 et de ceux du paragraphe 10 du I et du paragraphe 1 du III de la 4e catégorie,2 les entreprises qui se trouvent dans l'obligation d'assurer la sécurité de leurs biens ou le gardiennage de leurs immeubles.

Ces entreprises, sous leur responsabilité, remettent les armes et munitions acquises aux personnels qu'elles chargent d'assurer ces missions pendant le temps nécessaire à leur accomplissement. Le choix de ces personnels doit être agréé par le préfet.

Article 26:

I. Private security guards are authorised to purchase or possess firearms and components of firearms under the conditions provided for in the Decree No 2000-376 of April 28, 2000, on the Protection of Cash Transports.

II. Companies that must ensure the security of their goods or the safe-keeping of their buildings may be authorised to purchase and possess firearms and components of firearms of the paragraphs 1 to 3 of the 1st category1 and firearms and components of firearms of the 4th category,2 except the additional features of paragraph 3 of the 1st category1 and those of paragraph 10-I and paragraph 1-III of the 4th category.2

These companies, under their responsibility, must hand over the purchased firearms and ammunition to the staff in charge of these missions and during the necessary time for their accomplishment. The choice of the staff must be approved by the Prefect.
