Article 36

Il est créé auprès du ministre de la Justice un service fédéral des armes, qui:

1) lui donne des avis concernant les directives qu'il donne, en concertation avec le ministre de l'Intérieur, aux gouverneurs dans le cadre de l'exercice de leurs compétences en vertu de la présente loi;

2) s'occupe de l'organisation de l'examen d'aptitude professionnelle pour les armuriers, de l'élaboration concrète des épreuves théorique et pratique à imposer par les gouverneurs en vertu de la présente loi et de l'élaboration de la liste des médecins reconnus visée à l'article 14, alinéa 1er;

3) se concerte avec les différents secteurs et autorités concernés et lui fait des propositions en matière d'arrêtés et de mesures à prendre en exécution de la présente loi.

Le Roi fixe la composition et le mode de fonctionnement du service fédéral des armes et les conditions dans lesquelles il a accès au registre central des armes.

Article 36

A Federal Service for Weapons is created by the Minister of Justice, which:

1) gives him advice concerning the directives it gives, in consultation with the Minister of Interior, governors within the context of the exercise of their competences under this Act;

2) deals with the organization of the professional examination for dealers, the actual development of theoretical and practical exams to be imposed by the Governors under this Act and the preparation of the list physicians recognized in Article 14, paragraph 1;

3) consults different sectors and authorities concerned and makes proposals on bylaws and measures to be taken to implement this Law;

The King shall determine the composition and mode of operation of the Federal Service for Weapons and the conditions under which it has access to the central register of weapons.
