Article 15:

(1) Il est tenu dans chaque préfecture un registre spécial contenant le relevé de toutes les armes régulièrement détenues par les personnes habitant le département ainsi que le relevé des mutations intervenues dans la propriété de ces armes.

(2) Un registre similaire est tenu à l'échelon du ministère de l'Administration territoriale.

(3) La sûreté nationale tient un fichier des armes détenues par les étrangers.

Article 15:

(1) A special register is kept in each prefecture [administrative headquarters of a department]. This register contains the record of all firearms lawfully possessed by persons living in the department as well as the record of all transfers of firearms property.

(2) A similar register is being kept at the level of the Ministry of Territorial Administration.

(3) National Security keeps a register of firearms held by foreigners.
