Artigo 26.º Regra geral

1. As armas e respectivas munições podem ser objecto de troca, doação e venda desde que os intervenientes na transmissão sejam titulares das licenças e autorizações necessárias.

2. A transmissão a que se refere o número anterior é autorizada pelo Director Nacional da Polícia Nacional, mediante requerimento formulado por ambos os interessados, instruídos com o livrete da arma e, bem assim, com as licenças de uso e porte de arma respectivas.

Article 26: General Rule

1. Weapons and their ammunition may be subject to exchange, donation and sale as long as those involved in the transfer are holders of licenses and authorizations needed.

2. The transfers referred to above must be authorized by the National Director of the National Police, upon receipt of a request made by both interested parties which includes the firearm's booklet and their respective licenses to use and carry a weapon.
