Artikel 11

1. Hij die de verbodsbepaling van artikel 1, de voorschriften van artikel 9 of de voorschriften van een krachtens deze landsverordening uitgevaardigd landsbesluit, houdende algemene maatregelen, overtreedt, wordt gestraft met hechtenis van ten hoogste twee maanden of geldboete van ten hoogste duizend florin.

2. Indien echter, naar hij weet of redelijkerwijze moet vermoeden, enig voorwerp met betrekking tot hetwelk het feit wordt begaan, is een bom, een handgranaat of een dergelijk voor ontploffing of voor het verspreiden van verstikkende of vergiftigde gassen bestemd wapen, wordt gevangenisstraf van ten hoogste vier jaren of geldboete van ten hoogste drie duizend florin opgelegd.

3. De bij deze landsverordening strafbaar gestelde feiten worden, indien daarop mede gevangenisstraf is gesteld, als misdrijven en overigens als overtredingen beschouwd.

Article 11

1. Any person who violates the prohibition of Article 1, the regulations of Article 9 or the regulations of a national decree containing general measures issued pursuant to this National Ordinance shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months or to a fine not exceeding one thousand florins.

2. If, however, he knows or should reasonably suspect that any object in respect of which the offence is committed is a bomb, a hand grenade or any such weapon intended for detonation or for dispersing asphyxiating or poisonous gases, imprisonment for a term not exceeding four years or a fine not exceeding three thousand florins shall be imposed.

3. The acts made punishable by this National Ordinance shall, if punishable by imprisonment, be considered felonies and otherwise misdemeanors.
