Articulo 38º.- Os indivíduos autorizados ao uso e porte de armas de fogo, poderão adquirir, por cada arma e em cada ano as seguintes munições:
a) Para armas de defesa: 200 cartuchos com balas;
b) Para armas de caça: 100 cartuchos com balas ou com chumbo;
c) Para armas de precisão, de destinadas a tiro desportivo: numero limitado de cartuchos com balas:
d) Para armas de recreio:
- Pistolas: 200 cartuchos com balas;
- Carabinas: 1000 cartuchos com balas;
- Numero ilimitado de cartuchos com chumbo.
§ 1º.- Os portadores de licença de caça, poderão adquirir, em cada ano, para fins venatórios:
- De alma lisa: 1000 cartuchos com chumbo.
- De alma estriada: 200 cartuchos com bala

c) For precision weapons, intended for sport shooting: limited number of cartridges with bullets:
d) For recreational weapons:
- Pistols: 200 rounds with bullets;
- Carbines: 1000 rounds with bullets;
- Unlimited number of leaded cartridges.
§ 1.- Holders of a hunting license may acquire, each year, for hunting purposes:
- Smooth-bore: 1000 cartridges with lead.
- Rifled-bore: 200 rounds with bullet.
