Artículo 89- Actividades con armas prohibidas.
Se impondrá una pena privativa de libertad de cuatro a ocho años, a quien posea, adquiera, comercialice, transporte, almacene, introduzca al territorio nacional, nacionalice, exporte, oculte, fabrique, ensamble, transforme, ejerza labores de corretaje nacional o internacional o utilice armas prohibidas por esta ley, sus partes y componentes.
Se aplicará una pena privativa de libertad de diez a veinte años, cuando se realicen las mismas actividades del párrafo anterior con:
a) Armas de destrucción masiva, sus partes y componentes.
b) Armas prohibidas por los convenios del derecho internacional, sus partes o componentes.
c) Municiones prohibidas por los convenios del derecho internacional, sus partes o componentes.
Los representantes, apoderados y gerentes, cuyo personal realice cualesquiera de las acciones tipificadas en este artículo, serán solidariamente responsables de las sanciones civiles que se establezcan.

Article 89- Activities with prohibited weapons.
A custodial sentence of four to eight years will be imposed on whoever possesses, acquires, markets, transports, stores, enters into the national territory, nationalises, exports, hides, manufactures, assembles, transforms, performs national or international brokerage work or uses weapons prohibited by this law, their parts and components.
A prison sentence of ten to twenty years will be applied, when the same activities of the previous paragraph are carried out with:
a) Weapons of mass destruction, their parts and components.
b) Weapons prohibited by international law conventions, their parts or components.
c) Ammunition prohibited by international law conventions, its parts or components.
The representatives, proxies and managers, whose personnel carry out any of the actions typified in this article, will be jointly and severally liable for the civil penalties established.
