Article 3

O Sinarm, instituído no âmbito da Polícia Federal do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública, manterá cadastro nacional, das armas de fogo importadas, produzidas e comercializadas no País.

§ 1º A Polícia Federal manterá o registro de armas de fogo de competência do Sinarm.

§ 2º Serão cadastrados no Sinarm:

VI - adquiridas por qualquer cidadão autorizado na forma do disposto no § 1º do art. 4º da Lei nº 10.826, de 2003.

Article 3

Sinarm, instituted within the scope of the Federal Police of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, will maintain a national register of imported firearms produced and commercialised in the country.

§ 1 The Federal Police will keep the register of firearms under the competence of Sinarm.

§ 2º [The following firearms] will be registered in Sinarm:

VI - acquired by any authorized citizen pursuant to the provisions of § 1 of art. 4 of Law No. 10,826, of 2003 .
