Article 121

I. Sont interdits:

1° Sauf dans les cas prévus aux articles 122,1 1232 et 124,3 le port des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions des catégories A4 et B;5
2° Le transport sans motif légitime des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions de catégorie B;5
3° Le port et le transport sans motif légitime des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions des catégories C6 et D.7

II. En matière de chasse et de tir sportif:

1° Le permis de chasser délivré en France ou à l'étranger ou toute autre pièce tenant lieu de permis de chasser étranger, accompagné d'un titre de validation de l'année en cours ou de l'année précédente vaut titre de port légitime pour les armes, éléments d'arme et munitions de la catégorie C et du 1° de la catégorie D ainsi que pour les armes du a du 2° de la catégorie D pour leur utilisation en action de chasse ou pour toute activité qui y est liée;
2° Le permis de chasser délivré en France ou à l'étranger ou toute autre pièce tenant lieu de permis de chasser étranger, vaut titre de transport légitime des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions de catégorie C et du 1° de la catégorie D ainsi que des armes du a du 2° de la catégorie D, destinés à être utilisés en action de chasse ou pour toute activité qui y est liée;
3° La licence de tir en cours de validité délivrée par une fédération sportive ayant reçu délégation du ministre chargé des sports au titre de l'article L. 131-14 du code des sports pour la pratique du tir vaut titre de transport légitime des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions des catégories B, C et du 1° de la catégorie D ainsi que des armes, éléments d'arme et munitions du 2° de la catégorie D utilisés dans la pratique du sport relevant de ladite fédération.

III. La justification de la participation à une reconstitution historique constitue le motif légitime de port pour les armes, éléments d'arme des a, d, e, f, g et k du 2° de la catégorie D, dans le strict cadre du déroulement de cette manifestation. Cette justification constitue un des motifs légitimes de transport pour les armes, éléments d'arme des a, d, e, f, g et k du 2° de la catégorie D, dans le strict cadre du déroulement de cette manifestation.

Article 121

I. It is forbidden:

1° To carry firearms, components of firearms and ammunition of categories A4 and B,5 except in cases provided for in Articles 122,1 123,2 and 124;3
2° To transport without a genuine reason firearms, components of firearms and ammunition of category B;
3° To carry and transport without genuine reason firearms, components of firearms and ammunition of categories C6 and D.7

II. In terms of hunt and sports shooting:

1° The hunting permit issued in France or abroad, or any other document in lieu of a foreign hunting permit, as well as credentials of the current year or of the past year, serve as a legitimate licence to carry firearms, components of firearms and ammunition of category C and of 1° of category D, as well as firearms of a) of 2° of category D, for use while hunting or to practice a related activity;
2° The hunting permit issued in France or abroad, or any other document in lieu of a foreign hunting permit, serves as a legitimate licence to transport firearms, components of firearm and ammunition of category C and of 1° of category D, as well as firearms of a) of 2° of category D, intended to be used while hunting or to practice a related activity;
3° The valid shooting licence issued by a sports federation that has received, under Article L. 131-14 of the Sports Code, delegation from the Minister in charge of Sports for the practice of shooting, serves as a legitimate licence to transport firearms, components of firearm and ammunition of 2° of category D, which are used to practice sports related to the said federation.

III. Justification for participating in an historical re-enactment serves as genuine reason for the carrying of firearms, components of firearms of a), d), e), f), g) and k) of 2° of category D, within the strict framework of this event. This justification serves as one of the genuine reasons for the transport of firearms and components of firearms of a), d), e), f), g) and k) of 2° of category D, within the strict framework of this event.

IV. Firearms referred to in 2° and 3° of I are transported in a way that they cannot be used immediately either by using a technical device to meet this objective, or by removing their safety parts.
