Articulo 54. Atribuciones

El IITCUP como encargado del REAFUC tiene las siguientes atribuciones:

1. Registrar a todas las personas que adquieran, comercialicen, tengan, porten y usen armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de uso civil;
2. Registrar todas las armas de fuego de uso civil;
3. Remitir información en línea, del REAFUC al REGAFME;
4. Realizar el análisis técnico balístico de las armas de juego y municiones de uso civil;
5. Realizar evaluaciones para la otorgación de licencias;
6. Emitir autorizaciones y licencias para la adquisición, comercialización, tenencia, portación y uso de armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de uso civil;
7. Autorizar, controlar y fiscalizar a las personas naturales o jurídicas dedicadas a la comercialización de armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de uso civil;
8. Registrar, autorizar y controlar a las armerías de reparación y/o recarga de armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de uso civil, asi como al propietario y técnicos armeros y recargadores de munición de uso civil;
9. Registrar, autorizar y controlar a las organizaciones de tiro con fines deportivos y organizaciones que realizan caza autorizada;
10. Registrar, autorizar y controlar a. las personas que impartan instrucciones de tiro deportivo;
11. Realizar por intermedio de sus oficinas departamentales inspecciones periódicas;
12. Conocer y sancionar las contravenciones administrativas relacionadas al REAFUC;
13. Remitir trimestralmente al Ministerio de Gobierno un informe pormenorizado en formato físico y digital de todos los registros realizados en el REAFUC.

Article 54. Attributions

IITCUP, being in charge of REAFUC, has the following responsibilities:

1. Register all individuals who purchase, deal, possess, carry and use firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use;
2. Register all firearms for civil use;
3. Submit online information, from REAFUC to REGAFME;
4. Carry out ballistic analysis of firearms and ammunition for civil use;
5. Carry out evaluations for the issuance of licences;
6. Issue authorisations and licences for the purchase, commerce, possession, carrying and use of firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use;
7. Authorise, control and supervise individuals or legal persons devoted to the commerce of firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use;
8. Register, authorise and control the repair and/or reloading of firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use by gun shops [armouries], as well as by owners and technicians and gunsmiths in charge of reloading ammunition for civil use;
9. Register, authorise and control shooting organisations with sporting purposes and organisations carrying out authorised hunting activities;
10. Register, authorise and control individuals who teach sports shooting;
11. Carry out periodic inspections through its departmental offices;
12. Study and sanction administrative malpractices related to REAFUC;
13. Submit on a three-months basis to the Ministry of the Interior a detailed report [in] hard and digital copies, of all registrations conducted in REAFUC.
