Para el ano 2012 se decomisaron a favor del Estado por acto administrativo y sentencia judicial en firme y ejecutoriada, 75.213 armas de fuego. Para el ano 2013 se decomisaron a favor del Estado por acto administrativo y sentencia judicial en firme y ejecutoriada, 44.139 armas de fuego. Nota: Es importante tener en cuenta que, estas cifras, corresponden al total de armas de fuego que ingresaron al Almacen de Armamento Decomisado del Departamento Control Comercio de Armas, Municiones y Explosivos, las cuales se someten al proceso de selección para fundición o traspaso a las Fuerzas o son asignadas a la Fiscalia General de la Nacion y otros cuerpos oficiales armados de carácter permanente.

13.1 How many SALW were found, seized or confiscated?
In 2012 alone, 75,213 firearms were decommissioned to the State through administrative acts and judicial ruling. In 2013, 44,139 firearms were decommissioned to the State through administrative acts and judicial ruling. Note: It is important to bear in mind that these numbers correspond to the total amount of firearms that entered the Decommissioned Firearms Storage, under the Department for the Control of the Commerce of Firearms, Ammunition and Explosives, where firearms are subject to the selection process deciding their destruction or hand-over to the Armed Forces, or the General Attorney or other official armed forces of permanent character.
