Las armas sobre las que se solicite licencia serán sometidas a inspección, a fin de que se verifique su estado técnico, características (tipo, marca, calibre y número de serie) y a la realización del peritaje balístico por el Laboratorio de Criminalística en aquellos casos que se determinen por los órganos competentes del Ministerio del Interior.

Article 194. Inspection

Firearms concerned with the licence application shall be subject to inspection, so as to verify their technical state, characteristics (type, brand, calibre and serial number) and to have a ballistic test conducted by the Criminal Studies Laboratory in cases deemed necessary by the competent authorities of the Ministry of the Interior.
