Portación de armas - Uso civil

Articulo 112 - Prohíbese la portación de armas de "uso civil", con las siguientes excepciones:

1) Por funcionarios públicos en actividad, cuando su misión lo justificare y en el momento de cumplirla.
2) Por los pagadores y custodias de caudales, en el momento de desempeñarse en función de tales.
3) Por otras personas, cuando concurran en razones que hagan imprescindible la portación.

Articulo 113 - La autorización de portación de armas de "uso civil" cuando correspondiere, será otorgada por las autoridades locales de fiscalización.

Previo a su otorgamiento se comprobarán los antecedentes personales del solicitante y se certificará sobre la existencia de las razones justificativas de la autorización. En caso de antecedentes desfavorables se denegará el pedido o se cancelará el que se hubiere acordado.

Carrying of Firearms - Civilian Use

Article 112 - Carrying firearms for 'civilian use' is prohibited, with the following exceptions:

1) By civil servants when their mission is justified and when they carry on with it.
2) By payers and capital guards, when performing such function.
3) By other people, under circumstances when carrying a firearm is imperative.

Article 113 - Authorisation to carry firearms for 'civilian use', when applicable, shall be granted by the local control authorities.

Prior to the grant of the authorisation, a personal background check on the applicant to certify the existence of a justifiable reason [to carry firearms] is undertaken by the authorities. In case of an unfavourable background check, the authorisation shall be refused or canceled.
