Fabricación de armas y sus municiones

Articulo 14 - La instalación en el país de fábricas de armas, sus repuestos, accesorios y municiones, se regirá por lo dispuesto por el artículo 27 de la Ley N. 12.709 y su reglamentación. (La Dirección General de Fabricaciones Militares llevará un registro de dichas fábricas).

Articulo 15 - Los establecimientos dedicados a la fabricación de armas, sus repuestos, accesorios y municiones, llevarán un libro de producción rubricado por la Dirección General de Fabricaciones Militares, en el que asentarán la producción diaria, especificando tipo, cantidad y número de serie de las armas, repuestos o accesorios y cantidad tipo y número de lote de munición según el caso. Mensualmente elevarán al Registro Nacional de Armas antes del 5 de cada mes, un informe con los datos referentes a producción, ventas realizadas y existencia en fábrica especificando tipo, cantidad, y número de serie de las armas o cantidad y tipo de munición. Cada arma fabricada deberá llevar grabada o estampada en lugar visible la marca, y número de serie que la individualice…

Manufacture of Firearms and their Ammunition

Article 14 - The installation in the country of factories that produce firearms, spare parts, accessories and ammunition shall be governed by provisions of article 27 of Law 12.709 and its regulations. (The General Direction of Military Industries keeps a record of such factories).

Article 15 - Establishments engaged in manufacture of firearms, their parts, accessories and ammunition, [must] maintain a production book that is signed by the General Direction of Military Industries, and where the daily production, specific type, quantity and serial number of firearms, parts or accessories and the number and type of ammunition is recorded. Before the 5th of each month, the National Firearm Registry shall produce a report with information regarding the production, sales that have been made and the specific type, number and serial number or quantity of firearms and ammunition type that have been produced. Each weapon that has been manufactured shall have a visible mark engraved or stamped, and a serial number [so the firearm may be] identifiable…
