Artículo 103. Otras Infracciones

Si llegaren a presentarse situaciones que no obstante configuraren infracciones a lo dispuesto en la Ley, no hubieren sido contempladas en las respectivas Tablas de Sanciones, la autoridad policial o el jefe de alguna de las Oficinas de Registros de Armas, procederá a redactar la respectiva esquela o acta donde consignará claramente el hecho que configure infracción a la Ley, entregándole copia al interesado y remitiendo el original al Ministerio de la Defensa Nacional.

Dicho Ministerio, luego del análisis respectivo, emitirá resolución motivada, donde se establezca claramente el hecho que constituye infracción a la Ley, su fundamentación legal y la respectiva sanción dentro de los parámetros establecidos en el Art. 67 de la misma.

Article 103. Other Offences

In the event that an offence against what is established by the Act does not appear in the Penalties Table, the police authorities or the chief of any of the offices of the Firearm Registers shall compile a report which shall outline the act constituting a violation of the law, providing a copy of it to the individual concerned and the original to the Ministry of National Defence.

The Ministry, upon analysis, shall issue a motivated resolution establishing the event that constitutes a violation of the Act, its legal basis and the corresponding penalties within the boundaries established under Article 67 of the former.
