Artículo 59. Almanecimiento y Retiro de Armas

Las armas de fuego, municiones o explosivos que fueren importados por empresas dedicadas a dichas actividades, se depositarán en almacenes de la Fuerza Armada, habilitados por el Ministerio de la Defensa Nacional, de donde podrán retirarse para su comercialización, por medio de retiros parciales.

Cada retiro parcial no podrá ser superior a TREINTA ARMAS DE FUEGO y a CINCUENTA MIL CARTUCHOS DE MUNICION, debiendo por lo menos existir una hora de diferencia entre cada retiro, siendo el respectivo encargado del almacén quien directamente autorizará los mismos, previa presentación de las respectivas facturas de compra y aplicación de la prueba balística…

Article 59. Storage and Withdrawal of Firearms

Firearms, ammunition or explosives imported by companies dedicated to these activities shall be deposited in warehouses of the Armed Forces, authorised by the Ministry of National Defence, from which they may be removed for commerce by means of partial withdrawals.

Each withdrawal cannot exceed THIRTY FIREARMS and FIFTY THOUSAND ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION, and at least one hour should pass between each withdrawal, the latter being authorised by the officer responsible for storage upon presentation of relevant receipts for sale and ballistic tests…
