Artículo 8 - Definiciones
b) Fabricación ilícita: se entenderá la fabricación o el ensamblaje de armas de fuego, sus piezas y componentes, municiones, explosivos, accesorios y afines:
I) a partir de componentes o partes ilícitamente traficados;
II) sin licencia de la autoridad competente;
III) cuando las armas de fuego, municiones y los explosivos no sean marcados en el momento de la fabricación…
d) Localización: se entenderá el rastreo sistemático de las armas de fuego, de sus piezas, componentes y municiones, desde el fabricante al comprador, con el fin de detectar, investigar y analizar la fabricación y el tráfico ilícito…
f) Rastreo: se entenderá el seguimiento sistemático de las armas pequeñas y ligeras ilícitas encontradas, incautadas, decomisadas o confiscadas en territorio de la República, desde el lugar de fabricación o importación a lo largo de las líneas de abastecimiento hasta el punto en que se convirtieron en ilícitas…

Article 8 - Definitions
b) Illicit manufacture: the manufacture and assembly of firearms, their parts and components, ammunition, explosives, accessories and similar items means:
I) from components or parts that have been illicitly trafficked;
II) without permission from the competent authority;
III) where firearms, ammunition and explosives are not marked at the time they are manufactured…
d) Localisation: means the systematic tracing of firearms, their parts, components and ammunition from the manufacturer to the purchaser with the purpose of detecting, investigating and analysing the illicit manufacturing and trafficking of firearms.
f) Tracing: means the systematic tracing of illicit small arms and light weapons that have been found, seized, decommissioned or confiscated in the country, from the place of manufacture or importation to the point that the weapons are characterised as illegal.
h) Trade: It is understood that any action that is done lawfully or unlawfully between natural or legal persons, under civil and private law, where the sale, exchange, brokerage, donation, transfer, granting, repair, storage, manufacture, import, export and transport of firearms, their parts and components, ammunition, explosives, and similar items are negotiated.
