Portación de armas en Centros de Recreación
El Ministerio de Interior y Policía actuando de conformidad al Art.61, de la Ley No. 36, (sobre Comercio, Porte y Tenencia de Armas de Fuego, 1965), prohíbe a los dueños y administradores de centros de diversión y de recreación aceptar en sus establecimientos personas con armas de fuego, exceptuando autoridades militares o policiales en servicio y además no están facultados para retener y guardar en la puerta de los referidos negocios las armas de fuego que porten sus clientes, lo cual es una facultad única del Ministerio de Interior y Policía, el Ministerio de las Fuerzas Armadas, la Policía Nacional y el Ministerio Público.

Carrying Firearms at Recreation Centers
The Ministry of the Interior and Police, acting pursuant to Art. 61 of the Act No. 36, (on the Trade, Carrying and Possession of Firearms, 1965), prohibits owners and managers of entertainment and recreational centers from allowing in their establishments people with firearms, except military authorities or police on duty, also they are not entitled to retain and store, at the front of those businesses, firearms carried by their customers, which is under the exclusive power of the Ministry of the Interior and Police, the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the National Police and the Public Ministry.
