Artículo 79. Permiso

EI permiso es el documento oficial expedido por el Ministerio del Interior, que acredita a las personas naturales o jurídicas según proceda, sin perjuicio de las atribuciones y funciones que por la Ley le están conferidas a otros organismos estatales, para realizar en relación con las armas objeto de licencia o permiso, sus accesorios y municiones, las actividades autorizadas, de la forma siguiente:
1. Las personas naturales podrán solicitar los permisos, solo para realizar las actividades de importación y exportación temporal o definitiva.
2. Las personas jurídicas podrán solicitar los permisos para realizar las actividades siguientes:
a) importación y exportación temporal o definitiva;
b) almacenamiento, exhibición, transportación y comercialización;
e) construcción o puesta en marcha de almacenes, talleres, centros recargadores;
de cartuchos, armerías, polígonos y campos de tiro deportivos;
d) destrucción, inutilización, reparación, mantenimiento, pulimento, recubrimiento superficial con pavón, niquelado y otros trabajos mecánicos;
e) uso en actividades fílmicas, televisivas, teatrales y otras de carácter artístico, veterinario, científico y demás auto-rizadas por el Ministerio del Interior.

Decree-Law No. 262 of 2008, on Arms and Ammunition

Article 79. Permit

The permit is the official document sent by the Ministry of the Interior, without being to the detriment of other functions and services played by state bodies, that grants to natural and legal persons the authority to carry out, with relation to arms subject to licence or permit, their accessories and ammunition, the following activities:
1. Natural persons will be able to request permits only to carry out import and export, temporary or permanent activities.
2. Legal persons will be able to request permits to carry out the following activities:
a) import and export, temporary or permanent;
b) storage, exhibition, transport and trade;
c) construction or setting up of storage sites, workshops, cartridge reloading centres, gun shops, shooting ranges and sites for shooting sports;
d) destruction, de-activation, repair, maintenance, cleaning, nickel or bronze plating, and other mechanical services;
e) use for film, TV, theatre and other artistic, veterinary and scientific activities, as well as others authorised by the Ministry of the Interior.
