Artículo 15. Armas de Fuego de Seguridad y Vigilancia

Son armas autorizadas para seguridad y vigilancia las destinadas única y exclusivamente a las actividades desarrolladas bajo el amparo de la Ley de Servicios de Seguridad Privada, a fin de dar seguridad a personas naturales, instalaciones y vehículos especiales. Estas armas pueden ser cortas o largas.

Las armas de fuego destinadas para seguridad y vigilancia de uso exclusivo de agentes de seguridad que forman parte de una misión diplomática acreditada en el Perú se sujetan a un procedimiento especial conforme a la normativa de la materia.

Article 15. Firearms for Security and Surveillance

Firearms authorised for security and surveillance are those uniquely and exclusively intended for activities referred to in the Act for Private Security Services, in order to provide protection for natural persons, facilities and special vehicles. They may be handguns or long guns.

Security and surveillance firearms for the exclusive use of security agents from diplomatic missions recognised by Peru are subject to a special procedure in accordance with the norms regulating that subject.
