Artículo 22. Licencia de Uso de Armas de Fuego

22.1 La licencia de uso de armas de fuego autoriza a una persona el uso de una o más armas de fuego solo cuando estas son de su propiedad y tiene tres (3) años de vigencia, prorrogable, contados a partir de la fecha de su expedición…

22.4 Las modalidades de licencia de uso de armas de fuego se regulan en función a la clasificación de armas de fuego de uso civil establecida en el artículo 13 de la presente Ley, siendo estas las siguientes: defensa personal, seguridad y vigilancia, deporte y tiro recreativo, caza y colección. En tal sentido, la modalidad de licencia emitida por la SUCAMEC precisa si su titular está autorizado para uno, varios o todos los usos contemplados en el referido artículo.

22.5 Las personas naturales o las personas jurídicas cuyos representantes legales hayan sido condenados por delitos de fabricación, almacenamiento o suministro o tenencia ilegal de armas, municiones y materiales relacionados, de conformidad con el artículo 279 del Código Penal, se encuentran inhabilitadas de manera permanente de solicitar las licencias y autorizaciones, aun en los casos que cuenten con la respectiva resolución de rehabilitación por cumplimiento de pena…

Article 22. Licence for the Use of Firearms

22.4 Conditions for the licence for the use of firearms are regulated in accordance with the classification of firearms for civilian use set by article 13 of the present Act, namely: personal defence, security and surveillance, sports and recreational shooting, hunting and collection.
