Artículo 30. Traslado y Custodia de Armas de Fuego, Municiones y Materiales Relacionados

Para el traslado de armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados en el territorio nacional, con fines comerciales, se requiere contar con la guía de tránsito expedida por la SUCAMEC y la custodia correspondiente de la Policía Nacional del Perú o las empresas especializadas de seguridad privada. Los productos que se encuentren en calidad de tránsito internacional se regulan por las normas de la materia.

Las empresas de seguridad y vigilancia pueden trasladar hasta diez (10) armas de fuego en un vehículo blindado, a efectos de llevar a cabo sus operaciones ordinarias, sin que para ello deba contar con la guía de tránsito expedida por la SUCAMEC. En atención a ello, el personal que se encargue de realizar el traslado de las citadas armas de fuego debe encontrarse debidamente registrado ante la SUCAMEC.

Article 30. Transfer and Custody of Firearms, Ammunition and Related Materials

The transfer of firearms, ammunition and related materials within the national territory, for trade purposes, requires a transit guide, which shall be issued by SUCAMEC and is subject to the custody of Peru National Police or specialised private security companies. All products under international transit are regulated by relevant regulations.

Security and surveillance companies may transfer up to ten (10) firearms in an armoured vehicle, in order to carry out their ordinary operations, without requiring a transit guide issued by SUCAMEC. With respect to this, the personnel in charge of carrying out the transfer of firearms shall be duly registered by SUCAMEC.
