Artículo 75. Tenencia de Armas

La tenencia de armas es el documento que determina la cantidad, tipo y calibre de las armas de propiedad de los Bancos, Organizaciones de Seguridad Privada, Clubes de Tiro, Caza y Pesca, Coleccionistas, y de las personas jurídicas legalmente autorizadas y registrados en la Dirección de Logística del Comando Conjunto de las FF.AA.

Dicha tenencia, se conferirá anualmente con la renovación del registro al que se refiere el Art. 13 del presente Reglamento.

Las Organizaciones de Seguridad Privada que hayan obtenido el Acuerdo del Ministerio de Gobierno para su funcionamiento, y que se hubieren registrado en el Comando Conjunto de las FF.AA. cumpliendo con los requisitos previstos en el Art. 13 literal b) solicitarán la Tenencia de Armas presentando: el orgánico del personal operativo y ejecutivo de la Compañía, listado de armas disponibles (tipo, calibre y marca), patente municipal el informe de inspección realizado por el organismo military de control de la respectiva jurisdicción.

Para la renovación anual, a más de los documentos señalados, adjuntará el documento de tenencia de armas caducado.

Article 75. Possession of Firearms

The certificate of firearm possession is the document that determines the quantity, type and calibre of the firearms owned by banks, private security companies, shooting, hunting and fishing clubs, collectors, and legal persons authorised and registered in the Logistics Direction of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.

Such certificate shall be conferred annually with the renewal of the registration referred to in Article 13 of the present Regulation.

Private security companies that have obtained authorisation from the Ministry of Government to operate and that are registered in the Joint Command of the Armed Forces, in compliance with documents referred to in Article 13 paragraph b), shall request a certificate to possess firearms by providing: the company's operational and executive staff, the list of available weapons (their type, calibre and brand), municipal patent and the inspection report issued by the military agency of the relevant jurisdiction.

In addition to the mentioned documents, the applicant should attach any expired certificate of firearm possession.
