Artículo 17. Armas de Fuego de Uso Civil

Armas de fuego de uso civil, son aquellas que pueden tener o portar los ciudadanos previo permiso de la autoridad competente; y se clasifican en:

a) Armas de defensa personal;1
b) Armas deportivas; y,2
c) Armas de colección.3

Article 17. Firearms for Civil Use

Firearms for civil use are those which may be possessed and carried by civilians, subject to permission of the competent authority, and are listed as follows:

a) Firearms for personal defence;1
b) Firearms for sporting purposes; and,2
c) Firearms for collection purposes.3
