Artículo 31. Sanciones a las Violaciones a esta Ley

Los que con violación a las normas de esta Ley, fabricaren, suministraren, adquirieren, sustrajeren, arrojaren, usaren, transportaren o tuvieren en su poder armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos, accesorios o materias destinadas a su fabricación serán reprimidos con reclusión menor de 3 a 6 años y con multa de un mil a cinco mil dólares de los Estados Unidos de América, sin perjuicio del decomiso de las armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos, accesorios, materias primas que constituyan la infracción.

Act on the Manufacture, Import, Export, Trade and Possession of Arms, Ammunition, Explosives and Accessories

Article 31. Penalties for Violations of this Act

All those who, in violating the norms set by this Act, manufacture, supply, purchase, remove, produce, use, transport or own firearms, ammunition, explosives, accessories or materials intended for their manufacture, shall be punished with a prison term between 3 to 6 years and a fine between a thousand to five thousand US dollars, without prejudice to the confiscation of the firearms, ammunition, explosives, accessories and raw materials that constitute the offence.
