Artículo 9. Adquisición de Armas para uso del Estado, Instituciones y Empresas y para Uso Civil

Las armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos y accesorios, para uso del Estado, Instituciones bancarias, empresas de seguridad privada, se adquirirán previa autorización otorgada por el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, de acuerdo con el informe expedido por el Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas.

Las armas de uso civil o particular autorizadas por esta Ley o su Reglamento, se adquirirán previo permiso otorgado por el Jefe del Estado Mayor del Comando Conjunto, de acuerdo con el informe del Jefe del IV Departamento de este Instituto.

Article 9. Purchase of Weapons for State, Institution and Company Use and Civilian Use

Firearms, ammunition, explosives and accessories to be used by the State, Banking Institutions, private security companies, will be purchased subject to authorisation issued by the Ministry of National Defence, in accordance with the report issued by the Joint Command of the Armed Forces.

Firearms for civilian or individual use, which are authorised by this Law or its Regulation, will be purchased subject to the licence issued by the Chief of Staff of the Joint Command, in accordance with the report of the Chief of the IV Department of this institution.
