Artículo 44. Los talleres de reparación y los propietarios de armas de fuego tendrán prohibido practicar modificaciones en las armas para el propósito de:

1) Alteración de funcionamiento mecánico;
2) Alteración de números de serie;
3) Alteración de calibre; y,
4) Modificación o alteración en la cadencia y modo de tiro.

Article 44. Repair workshops and firearm owners are prohibited from modifying firearms for the following purposes:

1) Mechanical alterations;
2) Altering the serial number;
3) Calibre alterations, and;
4) Modifying or altering the timing and shooting mode.
