Artículo 98. Destrucción

Con excepción de las armas orgánicas y de guerra, las demás armas de fuego y municiones decomisadas, incautadas o colectadas, que no sean devueltas a sus portadores o resguardadas por orden del Ministerio Público o la autoridad judicial, serán destruidas de manera inmediata y bajo las condiciones que determine el órgano de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana con competencia en materia de control de armas.

Act on the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition

Article 98. Destruction

With the exception of organic [state-owned] firearms and weapons of war, the other firearms and ammunition decommissioned, seized or collected, which are not returned to their owners or held by order of the Public Ministry or the judicial authority, will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the procedure determined by the body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in charge of arms control.
