El Estado venezolano, a través de los órganos competentes conjuntamente con el Poder Popular organizado, creará el Plan Nacional de Canje de Armas y Municiones para ejecutar las políticas públicas necesarias, en pro de lograr la entrega voluntaria y anónima de armas de fuego y municiones que estén en posesión de personas naturales y jurídicas, que se encuentren en el territorio nacional.

Act on the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition

Article 84. Voluntary Surrender of Firearms and Ammunition

The Venezuelan state, through the competent bodies acting in conjuction with the organised People's Power, shall create the National Plan on Exchange of Firearms and Ammunition to carry out the necessary public policies, so as to promote the voluntary and anonymous surrender of firearms and ammunition possessed by natural and legal persons within national territory.
