Artículo 64. Permiso de Porte de Arma de Fuego para la Protección de Personas

El Permiso de Porte de Arma de Fuego para la Protección de Personas es el permiso otorgado por el órgano competente de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana para el control de armas y municiones al personal calificado y certificado de escolta civil armada para brindar el servido de escolta armada a las personas naturales, el cual tendrá una vigencia de un año contado a partir de la fecha de su otorgamiento.

Para su otorgamiento la persona solicitante deberá cumplir con los requisitos comunes para las personas naturales establecidos en el presente reglamento debiendo además cumplir con los requisitos que se especifican:
1. Tener un grado mínimo de instrucción equivalente a bachiller…
3. Ser mayor de 25 años de edad.
4. No poseer antecedentes penales.
5. Estar apto médica y psicológicamente.
6. Aprobar el curso para protección a personas en las academias debidamente certificadas por el órgano competente en materia de armas y municiones de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana.

Article 64. Permit to Carry Firearms for the Protection of Persons
