Articulo 43. Permiso de Tenencia Domiciliaria
El Permiso de Tenencia Domiciliaria es aquel que autoriza a su titular para que el arma de fuego permanezca en su domicilio principal; el arma de fuego no debe ser transportada fuera de su domicilio.
En caso de cambio de domicilio, el titular deberá solicitar autorización de traslado y el cambio de domicilio del permiso de tenencia domiciliaria del arma de fuego, ante el órgano competente de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana para el control de armas y municiones, dentro de los treinta (30) días previos al cambio de domicilio, el cual deberá otorgar la autorización para el traslado y el cambio de domicilio dentro del plazo de quince (15) días.
La solicitud de autorización deberá señalar: fecha exacta del traslado, dirección exacta del nuevo domicilio y descripción del vehículo en el que realizará el traslado.
Serán requisitos para tramitar el permiso de tenencia domiciliaria:
1. Ser venezolano o venezolana por nacimiento o por naturalización.
2. Ser Mayor de veinticinco años.
3. No poseer antecedentes penales…
11. Anexar en original dos (2) referencias personales firmadas, con indicación de la dirección de habitación, trabajo, teléfono y copia fotostática de la cédula de identidad del referente a 150% de ampliación.
12. Anexar copia de la factura u otro documento que acredite la propiedad del arma, en caso de no poseerla declaración jurada debidamente notariada.
13. Anexar el certificado original de haber aprobado el Curso Básico de Manipulación, Manejo y Tiro, dictado por un Instructor del Organismo competente en materia de armas y municiones de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana.
14. Anexar el Certificado Psicológico para porte de Arma (CPPA), otorgado por los Psicólogos de las Unidades de Sanidad Militar, de cualquier parte del país.

Decree No. 881, promulgating Regulations for the Law on Disarmament and Control of Firearms and Ammunition
Article 43. In-house Firearm Ownership Permit
The in-house firearm ownership permit is the permit that authorises its bearer to have a firearm within the premises of his main residence; the firearm must not be carried outside the residence.
In the event of a change of residence, the bearer will have to request an authorisation for the transfer of the firearms and for a change of residence in the in-house firearm ownership permit, before the competent body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces for the control of arms and ammunition, within thirty (30) days before the change of residence, which will have to issue the authorisation for the transfer and change of residence within fifteen (15) days.
The authorisation request will have to highlight: the exact date of the transfer, the exact address of the new residence and the description of the vehicle in which the transfer shall take place.
