Prohibited Weapons and Ammunition

27. (1) It shall not be lawful for any person without the authority of the Governor to manufacture, sell, transfer, purchase, acquire or have in his possession

(a) any firearm which is so designed or adapted that if pressure is applied to the trigger, missiles continue to be discharged until pressure is removed from the trigger or the magazine containing the missiles is empty;
(b) any weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of any noxious liquid, gas or other thing;
(c) any ammunition containing or designed or adapted to contain any such noxious liquid, gas or thing.

(2) Any authority given to any person under this section shall be in writing and shall be subject to such conditions as may be specified therein.

(3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable

(a) upon summary conviction, to a fine of $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term of 2 years, or to both;
(b) upon conviction on indictment, to a fine or to imprisonment for a term of 10 years, or to both.

(4) The foregoing provisions of this section shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any other provisions of this or any other Ordinance relating to the manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, acquisition or possession of firearms.
