Guns in Schools in Arkansas
Arkansas prohibits the possession of a firearm, concealed or unconcealed:
- Upon the developed property of the public or private schools, K-12;
- In or upon any school bus; or
- At a designated bus stop as identified on the route lists published by school districts each year.
Arkansas prohibits possession of a handgun on the property of any private or publicly-supported institution of higher education, either on the person, in a vehicle, or otherwise readily available for use with the purpose to employ it as a weapon against a person.
