5.1- Les représentants béninois des diverses Forces de Sécurité Publique et des Forces de Défense Nationale ont pris part à la formation des 14 formateurs de lutte contre la prolifération des armes légères, dans la période du 15 au 20 Octobre 2001 à Abidjan en Côte d'Ivoire.
En vue du renforcement des capacités opérationnelles, plusieurs ateliers de formation à l'intention des membres de la Commission Nationale, des cadres militaires et paramilitaires, des agents chargé du contrôle sont programmés pour se dérouler dans le 3ème trimestre de l'année 2003.
5.2- Les programmes régionaux et internationaux de formation de spécialistes de la gestion et de la sécurité des stocks d'ALPC sont ceux des Forces Armées Françaises.

Training, Capacity Building and Research
5.1- The Benin representatives of the various National Security and Defence Forces have taken part in the training of 14 trainers in the fight against the rpoliferation of small arms, in the period from 15 to 20 Ocotber 2001 in Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire.
In order to strengthen operational capacities, several training worshops for members of the National Commission, senior military and paramilitary officers and agents in charge of control are programmed to take place in the thrid quarter of 2003.
5.2- The international and regional specialist training programmes on the management and security of stockpiles of SALW are those of the French Armed Forces.
