6.1- Les excédents d'ALPC n'existant pas, aucun programme national n'a jamais été conçu et appliqué pour leur élimination rationnelle.
Toutefois, les ALPC défaillantes sont déclassées et stockées dans un magasin central pour les Armées. Elles sont répertoriées et attendent d'être détruites.

6.4- Les ALPC confisquées ou saisies sur des malfaiteurs ou braconniers (le Bénin n'ayant jamais connu la guerre) sont rassemblées dans des magasins spéciaux des institutions chargées de la sécurité publique.
Elles sont enregistrées et attendent d'être détruites au cours d'une opération de "flamme de la Paix" lors de l'exécution du programme de sensibilisation conçu par la Commission Nationale de Lutte contre la Prolifération des Armes Légères.
Le point de ces armes se trouve en pièce jointe à ce rapport.
6.5- Aucune méthode n'est encore mise en œuvre pour détruire de surplus d'armes.
6.6- Le point des ALPC ci-joint a été remis au PCASED lors de la 4ème rencontre des Commissions Nationales de Lutte contre la Prolifération des Armes Légères à Banjul (Gambie) le Jeudi 05 Juin 2003.

6.4 - SALW confiscated or seized from criminals and poachers (Benin has never experienced war) are assembled in special magazines of public security institutions.
They are registered and await their destruction in a "Flames of Peace" operation during the implementation of an awareness raising programme designed by the National Commission to Fight the Proliferation of Small Arms.
An assessment on these arms is among the attachments to this report.
6.5 - No method has been implemented to destroy surplus weapons.
6.6 - The enclosed assessment of SALW was handed to the PCASED during the 4th meeting of the National Commission to Fight the Proliferation of Small Arms in Banjul (Gambia) on Thursday 5 June 2003.
