La Belgique collabore activement avec INTERPOL et EUROPOL. La création, au niveau européen, du groupe des EUROPEAN FIREARMS EXPERTS, rassemblant des représentants des services de lutte contre le trafic d'armes de tous les pays membres de l'Union Européenne, a développé et renforcé la coopération en la matière.

Le groupe EFE poursuit notamment les objectifs suivants:

- le développement structurel d'une coopération policière européenne (actions concrètes)
- l'organisation d'un Réseau d'Experts
- l'utilisation de moyens de communication et de bases de données efficaces et efficientes, le développement et l'échange de bonnes pratiques en matière de lutte contre le trafic d'armes

International Cooperation and Assistance

Belgium collaborates actively with INTERPOL and EUROPOL. The creation, at the European level, of the group of European Firearms Experts, bringing together representatives of the fight against arms trafficking of all member States of the European Union, has developed and reinforced the cooperation on this subject.

The group of European Firearms Experts follows the following objectives:

- The structural development of European police cooperation (concrete actions)
- The organisation of a network of experts
- The effective and efficient use of media and databases, the development and exchange of good practices in the fight against arms trafficking
