§ 88. Supervision of Compliance with this Act

(1) Supervision over the handling of weapons and ammunition the use of which is permitted for civilian purposes shall be exercised by the police authorities and supervision over the legality of the carriage of weapons and ammunition across the Customs frontier shall be exercised by the Customs and border guard authorities.

(2) Supervision over the handling of military and service weapons shall be exercised by bodies authorised by the Government of the Republic.

(3) Supervision over the compliance of agencies with this Act and legislation issued on the basis thereof shall also be exercised by their superior agencies.
