§ 82. Keeping of Records Regarding Weapons Brought for Repair, Conversion or Rendering Incapable of Firing

(1) A person who, on the basis of an activity licence, engages in the repair or conversion of weapons or the rendering of weapons incapable of firing is required to keep records regarding weapons which are brought for repair, conversion or rendering incapable of firing, and also regarding the essential components of firearms needed for the repair or conversion of weapons.

(2) Records shall be kept in a weapons ledger bound with string and sealed with the seal of the police prefecture. The standard format for weapons ledgers shall be established by a regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
