Lithuania:
- Automatic Firearms: prohibited for civilian possession (with no or limited exceptions)
- Semi-automatic Firearms: special restrictions apply to some or all firearms in this category
- Handguns: no special restrictions apply
- Penalty for Possessing Prohibited Firearm: unlawful possession generally: up to 5 years
- Registration: details of the firearm must be recorded; details of the owner or licensed person must be recorded - plus import, export, and destruction
