Artículo 69. Permiso de Importación Ocasional de Armas Permitidas

Toda persona física o jurídica que desee ocasionalmente importar directamente un arma de fuego permitida al país, deberá obtener el permiso respectivo del Departamento, presentando la solicitud por escrito, personalmente o debidamente autenticada, indicando y aportando los requisitos que exige en el artículo 57 del presente Reglamento. Deberá señalar, además las características, cantidad, y procedencia de las armas, las razones y el uso que se les dará.

Article 69. Occasional Licence to Import Permitted Firearms

Any individual or legal entity that occasionally wishes to directly import a permitted firearm into the country, must obtain the corresponding licence at the Arms and Explosives Control Department. It is necessary to submit a written request in person or duly authenticated, which shows that the conditions prescribed in Article 57 of this Regulation are being met. It must also describe the characteristics, quantity and origin of the arms, why they are being imported and how they will be used.
