Artículo 65. Requisitos del Permiso Regular de Importacion de Armas y Municiones

La solicitud para el permiso regular de importación de armas y municiones permitidas deberá formularse por escrito ante el Departamento, debidamente autenticado. En la solicitud se indicarán, según corresponda: tratándose de persona física o el representante de persona jurídica, nombre, apellidos, calidades completas, número de cédula y domicilio exacto. Razón social, número de la cédula jurídica, citas de inscripción en el Registro Público. Nombre del establecimiento dirección exacta y número telefónico. Se debe indicar, los tipos de armas y munición que importará, si las importaciones consisten en armas nuevas, usadas o ambas, países de origen, nombre de las compañías vendedoras. Debe indicar además, que la adquisición de las armas y municiones se hará en el país o fuera de él.

Article 65. Requirements of the Regular Licence to Import Arms and Ammunition

The application for a regular licence to import permitted firearms and ammunition shall be submitted in writing and duly authenticated at the Arms and Explosives Control Department. The application form must contain the appropriate information about the individual or legal entity's representative, including: name, identification number and exact address, the entity's name, corporate identification number, date of registration in the Public Registry, name of business, exact address and telephone. It should list the types of arms and ammunition to be imported and mention if the arms are new, used or both; countries of origin; name of the sale companies. It should also state if the acquisition of the arms and ammunition will take place inside or outside the country.
