Artículo 39. Requisitos para Permisos de Portación de Armas

Para solicitar el permiso de portación de armas, las personas deberán cumplir con los requisitos del artículo 411 y, además, aportar un timbre policial de mil colones y tres fotografías tamaño pasaporte. Asimismo, deberán aprobar el examen teórico-práctico que requiera el Departamento.

Article 39. Requirements for the Firearm Carrying Licence

To request the licence to carry arms, individuals must meet the requirements of Article 411 and also to pay the corresponding taxes and attach three passport size photographs. In addition, they must pass the theoretical and practical test administered by the Arms and Explosives Control Department.
