The import and export of official or civilian weapons and their ammunition requires authorization from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The export from the Republic of Azerbaijan of one-of-a-kind civilian weapons requires authorization from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the agreement of the Ministry of Culture…

Authorization for the import or export of official or civilian weapons and ammunition is granted on the basis of an application from the relevant individual or legal entity. The application must indicate the name, make, type and quantity of weapons and ammunition being imported or exported, the purpose and duration of the import or export and details of certification of the weapons being imported.
