French Pacific Territories:

Each adult without a criminal record who can produce a justification for hunting or a territorial French Shooting card, and who has obtained the endorsement of the authorities, can own two smooth-bored arms (hunting), one Category 5 rifle (carbine), and one Category 7 rifle.

Category 1 firearms ('materials of war') are prohibited by law. These include automatic pistols, any handgun designed to fire designated military ammunition, and long guns designed or destined for war purposes, among others.

A detailed list of specific firearms that fall under this category is provided by law. Possession of Category 4 arms (defensive weapons, including handguns) is prohibited unless authorized by the High Commissioner.
