Prohibition on Gun Ownership following Domestic Violence

In Australia there is a minimum five-year prohibition on owning guns for those subject to a restraining order for partner or family violence or a conviction for violent offence.

In some of the states this has been increased to up to ten years. The national standard is the minimum with state/province level additions adding further restrictions or measures.
