Nauru
In Nauru, assistance is provided through the Australian Federal Police to build local policing capacity, construct policing infrastructure (including armoury) and assist in the implementation of SALW related legislation.
In 2008, AusAID also funded the removal and destruction of unexploded World War II ordinance at various locations around the island.
