89 § (28.2.2020/89) Luovutusilmoitus

Sen, joka luovuttaa pysyvästi toiselle ampuma-aseen tai aseen osan, on tehtävä 30 päivän kuluessa luovuttamisesta asiasta ilmoitus poliisilaitokselle. Ilmoitus voidaan tehdä sähköistä asiointia käyttäen.

Ase-elinkeinonharjoittajien välisestä luovutuksesta on tehtävä ilmoitus 10 päivän kuluessa sähköistä asiointia käyttäen poliisin asetietojärjestelmään.

Äänenvaimentimen luovutuksesta ei tarvitse tehdä ilmoitusta, ellei luovutuksensaajan oikeus hankkia äänenvaimennin perustu äänenvaimentimelle annettuun aselupaan tai luovuttajan hallussapito-oikeus perustu äänenvaimentimelle annettuun ase- tai rinnakkaislupaan.

Ilmoituksessa on esitettävä valtioneuvoston asetuksella tarkemmin säädettävät tiedot.

Chapter 7 Transfer, loan and controlled use

89 § (28.2.2020/89) Notification of surrender

Any person who permanently transfers a firearm or part of a firearm to another person shall, within 30 days of the transfer, notify the police department. The notification may be made by electronic means.

In the case of a transfer between gun dealers, a notification must be made within 10 days using electronic means to the police weapons information system.

The transfer of a silencer need not be notified unless the right of the transferee to acquire the silencer is based on a firearms licence for the silencer or the right of the transferor to possess the silencer is based on a firearms or parallel licence for the silencer.

The notification shall contain the information specified in a government decree.
