III. Šaujamieroču munīcijas marķēšana
19. Ieroču komersants, kas Latvijā izgatavo A, B un C kategorijas medību, sporta vai pašaizsardzības šaujamieroču patronas, nodrošina, ka:
19.1. vītņstobra šaujamieroču patronas marķē, iestrādājot čaulas pamatnē marķējumu ar ciparu – patronas kalibru (kalibra standarta apzīmējumu vai patronas preču nosaukumu) – un ražotāja zīmolu;
19.2. gludstobra šaujamieroču patronas marķē uz pamatnes vai sānu virsmas, norādot kalibru, čaulas garumu, lādiņa veidu un ražotāja zīmolu;
19.3. gludstobra šaujamieroču skrošu patronām norāda skrošu numuru vai renkuļu diametru un čaulas garumu, ja divdesmitā vai lielāka kalibra patronām tas pārsniedz 65 mm, bet 24. kalibra patronām – 63,5 mm;
19.4. gludstobra šaujamieroču patronām ar palielinātu spiedienu ir atšķirības zīme;
19.5. katru sīkāko patronu iepakojumu marķē, norādot vismaz šādu informāciju:
19.5.1. izgatavotāja nosaukums;
19.5.2. partijas identifikācijas numurs;
19.5.3. kalibrs;
19.5.4. veids.

III. Marking of ammunition for firearms
19. A weapons merchant who manufactures cartridges for hunting, sports or self-defense firearms of categories A, B and C in Latvia shall ensure that:
19.1. cartridges for barreled firearms shall be marked by incorporating a numerical marking with the calibre of the cartridge - the standard designation of the cartridge or the trade name of the cartridge) and the brand name of the manufacturer;
19.2. cartridges for smooth-bore firearms shall be marked on the base or side surface, indicating the calibre, the length of the shell, the type of projectile and the brand name of the manufacturer;
19.3. for shotguns of smooth-bore firearms, the number of the shot or the diameter and length of the shell shall be indicated, if for cartridges of the twentieth calibre or larger it exceeds 65 mm, but for cartridges of the 24th calibre - 63.5 mm;
19.4. cartridges for smooth-bore firearms with increased pressure shall bear a distinguishing mark;
19.5. each package of small cartridges shall be labelled with at least the following information:
19.5.1. the name of the manufacturer;
19.5.2. batch identification number;
19.5.3. calibre;
19.5.4. type.
